We are experiencing a golden era of tehnological advancements, all sorts of things that people could only create in their imagination are taking shape in the real world right now. With this breakthrough, the will to use the latest tech and gadgets has increased dramatically espacially within the teenagers.
Some good uses of Technology are, that it allows its users from around the world to reach out to their loved ones in a small fraction of time, international travel has become faster, you order something on the internet and the next minute its on your doorstep, and even sent a Man on the Moon!
But where there are many productive uses of technology there is also a downside, which Of course! “depends on the user”.
For example, most of the cell phone consumers simply dont bother to read the “lengthy and useless” user manual of their beloved device. Having no idea how it should be handled and what precautions must be taken for safe usage, they end up damaging some vital senses of their body (the most common being hearing), which are barely noticeable in the early stages but may cause devastating effects to the consumer in the long run.
Espacially for children as they are in their early stages of physical and mental development, these devices can be extremely dangerous. According to The New York Times, The average age in which children are getting their first smartphones has climbed down to as low as 10 year old as reported by a research conducted in 2012. Parents must be extremely cautious before buying any smart gadget for their child which may be a cause of trouble.

What can you do?
It is alot easier than you think, all you have to do is to try to forget your device for a day.
1.Read from a paper!
Induldge yourself in reading, read the books again that you used to like when you were younger , read some articles from your daily newspaper, which is infact alot better than staring at your device’s screen for a long period of time.
2. Go out for a walk
Not only it helps you to relieve your work stress but physical exercises like walking or jogging keeps you fit and your health in check.
3. Do your Chores
Induldge yourself in some house chores, I know most people are not a big fan, but this is the perfect way of keeping yourself away from your phone and closer to some physical activity.
4. Ask for help
Ask a friend for help, tell them to monitor you if you are constantly using your device even when you are with them, then at the end of every week ask for your “Reports” and reward or fine yourself accordingly.
So there you have it!
These are my four ways of avoiding your device and reviving your communication skills.
